The Rock was a place where the surf lifesavers would sit out in the bay behind the surf break. This was an easier place to rescue bathers. But there was a code of truth associated with the Rock. This meant that only the truth could be spoken when you sat on the Rock. So, outrageous claims about drinking and girlfriends were tested for truth on the Rock. No one ever told a lie on the Rock. All of the surf lifesavers respected the Rock and what it stood for.
Company culture is a significant part of Revera’s success and customer appeal. A central theme is truth. In fact, the word Revera comes from the Latin term ‘in truth’. Revera rocks bring this idea to life – all staff members own a rock with their name on it, as do customers and partners.
The significance of rocks is rooted in a story, shared with Revera founders many moons ago, about a surf lifesaving club.
Revera rocks serve the same purpose. They represent truth, honesty and the voice of the heart. Not just the absence of lies, but truth from the soul.
