Our Founders
Directors Wayne Norrie (CEO) and Roger Cockayne (Group Managing Director) founded Revera and are the major shareholders.

Joe Pope, Chairman
For the last six years Joe has been a professional company director and advisor. He has held senior marketing and management positions in both New Zealand and Australia. In 1984 he was appointed chief executive of the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board. From his appointment until he stood down in 1996, he transformed the organisation from a small marketer of pip fruit with sales of $NZ178 million into the largest and arguably most successful global marketer of pip fruit, with sales of $NZ875 million.

Wayne Norrie, Director
Wayne has over 20 years industry experience, as well as a Bachelor of Science with a Computer Science Major. This career has progressed from a technical and delivery phase, to delivery and management phases. Sales and latterly, leadership round out a career that has successfully achieved on all goals. He has worked for General Electric, Accenture and Prudential prior to joining Hitachi Data Systems NZ and undertaking the management buyout with Roger Cockayne.

Roger Cockayne, Director
Roger has 39 years’ experience in the IT industry, with roles spanning operations management, data storage management, strategic planning and governance. He has worked for Boots (UK), Databank Systems, Hitachi Data Systems NZ and Repco, before rejoining Hitachi Data Systems NZ in 2000 and undertaking the management buyout with Wayne Norrie. Roger is now focusing on growing Revera, using strong disciplines and values that make it easy for customers and partners to work with.

Andrew Clements, Director
Andrew is a Professional Director. His previous experience includes nine years in various financial and general management positions in New Zealand and Asia, following corporate money market and foreign exchange dealer roles with Ceramco and Broadbank.

Rick Bettle, Director
Rick Bettle is a Professional Director. He has just completed eight and a half years as Chairman of the New Zealand TAB. He has previously chaired NZ Lamb Co, Capital Coast Health, Wrightson Finance, a former Director of NGC Holdings Ltd and Restaurant Brands. He was made a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Directors in February 2000, is Vice President of the National Council and Chairman of the Wellington Branch. He is currently Chairman of Dominion Finance Ltd and Eastern Hi Fi Ltd, Southport Ltd, Macquarie Goodman NZ and Synergy International Ltd. Rick was the Managing Director of Wrightson from 1987 to 1991 and the CEO of Alliance Group (a large South Island meat Co-operative) from 1991 to 1995. From 1995 to 1998 he headed the Law firm of Kensington Swann.
