Revera signs as CA provider

Wellington-based IT infrastructure firm Revera has joined Computer Associates' (CA) enterprise solution provider (ESP) programme giving it access to CA solutions to deliver to its customers.

Revera's general manager of strategic growth Rob Martyn says the partnership will play a key role in Revera's move to incorporate leading infrastructure and service management vendors in its computing infrastructure provision business.

"Many of CA's products work well in multi-tenanted hosting environments so we expect to bring something new to our VDC (Virtual Data Centre) customers, particularly in data management and archiving. From what we've seen, CA is a very strong player in this space, so they're an important addition to our family."

CA New Zealand manager of channels George Hladilo describes Revera's involvement in its ESP programme as a "strategic relationship" and is pleased to have them on board. "Revera has made great inroads into the fast growing infrastructure provision market so we're very pleased to play a part in their infrastructure services delivery business."

Revera, formerly HdS, experienced a 51 per cent growth in revenues last year. The company added 40 new customers in 2005 and in the next twelve months it plans to increase headcount by 10 including customer-facing and technical staff.
