Revera wins MoRST ICT business
Wellington-headquartered IT infrastructure firm Revera, formerly HdS, has won a contract to supply the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology (MoRST) with ICT services for the next four years.
The contract is worth between $800,000 and $900,000.
A MoRST spokesperson says the contract involves "fully outsourced support and services" with 24x7 helpdesk support. Additionally, MoRST's servers have been moved to Revera's Tawa datacentre and it has a full-time Revera support person onsite.
The win continues a successful year for Revera, which recently announced a 51 per cent growth in revenues and datacentre expansion plans.
Earlier this year the company announced industry partnerships with Hewlett Packard (HP) and Computer Associates (CA).
Under terms of the HP partnership Revera resells and uses HP server, storage and service management technologies; and HP resells Revera's virtual data centre and hosting services where it doesn't have data centre facilities.
Revera recently joined Computer Associates' (CA) enterprise solution provider (ESP) programme giving it access to CA solutions to deliver to its customers.
